Delivery partners have different approaches when it comes to assigning drivers to orders. Some delivery partners are only able to assign drivers within minutes of the specified pick up time for urgent orders while others can pre-assign drivers days or hours in advance for scheduled orders.
If a driver has not been assigned by the time of the pickup, it means there are no available drivers in the area at that particular time. The delivery partner will either reject the booking or continue to try to assign a driver.
